Mute Soundproofing® was contracted to sound insulate an office ceiling at Millicom International Cellular, in Chiswick, London.

Millicom offers a range of digital lifestyle products and services to over 45 million customers in emerging markets. 

The office space has a suspended ceiling, with perforated tiles and the ceiling cavity extends across the entire office footprint. Consequently airborne sound travels freely, over partition walls, through the suspended ceiling cavity, from one space to the next. Sound bleed also occurs via glass partitions and adjoining doors. The result is a loss of confidentiality, critically affecting the CEO’s office. Accordingly, Mute Soundproofing® has been hired to design and install a comprehensive scheme of remedial works to sound insulate the office.
